Welcome to the Weavers & Painters Guild, publishers of quality scenery and providers of specific add-on software for FS2002 and FS9.

All scenery is designed using gmax, AFCAD2 and Microsoft's xml format used in FS9 resulting in high definition scenery.  Unfortunately this scenery and its animated components can only be used in FS9.

We highly recommend you download all software into a temporary folder and read the enclosed installation or "readme" file before installing into Flight Simulator. With some scenery you have the option to add or delete any unwanted components.

Mesh

Stephen Rothlisberger 70m Global Terrain Mesh for The Whole World FS2004 FS2002


This is the 'edge' of the SA57 package installed and the adjacent one not so we have only the default mesh. Here is where the default mesh, below, meets the SRTM mesh, above. From a rugged terrain you find yourself suddenly flying over a flat, less detailed ground.

FEATURES:

Those are several freeware files converted and compiled by Stephen Rothlisberger generated from preliminary SRTM (Shuttle Radar Topography Mission). The terrain mesh is sampled at 70m. The entire landmass of the earth between 60°S and 60°N is covered in 682 geographical sections. The scenery files are for FS2004, FS2002 & FS2000. The complete scenery set is about 8.27GB.
